Award for innovation and responsibility
During the 18th Food Market and Trade Forum gala in Warsaw on 18 November 2025, the winners of the prestigious Good Product 2025 (PL: Dobry Produkt) certificates were announced. In the "Sustainable Product" category, the award went to our Krast Cherry Vibe – a postbiotic soda created by the consortium of Rzemieślnicy.com (Rebread company), EcoBean, Cyrkl and the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Warsaw. The jury recognised Krast soda for its pioneering use of food waste and its exemplary approach to the circular economy.

We are particularly honoured that Krast was selected among the brands of the largest retail players and well-known food and beverage brands operating in Poland. As Bartłomiej Rak, CEO, emphasised during the gala:
You need to be brave to choose a product made from two types of 'almost waste' in such a competition. (...) I would like to see more of this courage and products made from waste, or almost waste, reaching the market more often. This educates consumers about what we can do to avoid wasting food, and I think that not wasting food should be in all of our best interests.
Postbiotic soda made from surplus bread and coffee beans
Krast Cherry Vibe is a lightly carbonated cherry-flavoured happy belly soda, 93% of which comes from upcycling (excluding water) – mainly from surplus bread and unused coffee from roasting. Thanks to advanced fermentation processes, the drink contains postbiotics, antioxidants and two selected strains of probiotic bacteria that support the gut microbiome. The jury awarding the certificate emphasised that Krast Cherry Vibe is an innovative and bold idea and an example of the implementation of circular economy principles. The product is based on a local supply chain involving bakery producers and cafés, which further enhances its unique value on the market.
Reusing surplus food reduces CO₂ emissions, decreases the demand for primary raw materials and supports the EU's goals of reducing food waste. The revision of the EU Waste Directive 2025/1892 sets binding targets to reduce food waste in processing and manufacturing by 10% and in food distribution, restaurants and catering services, and households by 30% by 2030. By producing beverages such as Krast from local secondary raw materials, we encourage similar business initiatives in the production of more sustainable food based on a closed-loop economy.

A new standard in the functional drinks category
The Good Product 2025 award shows that Krast Cherry Vibe is setting new trends in the beverage industry. It combines innovation, responsibility and real waste reduction, and its benefits for the health of the microbiome further confirm that the food of the future can be delicious, healthy and produced with minimal impact on the environment.
